Mar 10, 2016 CELEBRATE U: A SHOWCASE OF EXTRAORDINARY FACULTY ACHIEVEMENTS
The J. Willard Marriott Library and the Office of the Vice President for Research hosted the first annual Celebrate U: A Showcase of Extraordinary Faculty Achievements on March 9, 2016. The event highlighted University of Utah faculty who reached a pinnacle of professional success in 2015. Those honored were faculty who authored a book, were primary contributors to a realized creative work, or were the top-funded researchers with their college. The J. Willard Marriott Library wishes to congratulate all honorees for their stellar work and contributions to The University of Utah and beyond.

Barlow Bradford was the conductor for the University of Utah Chamber Choir, who won the 2015 European Gran Prix for Choral Singing.

Kim Martinez has created a cross-disciplinary mural at Esperanza Elementary. This was a community commissioned project that included art as a vehicle to create a culturally and socially empowering environment at the school.
