May 18, 2023 Librarian featured in U of U Banner Campaign
Since 2020 the University of Utah Office of Academic Affairs highlights impactful faculty on banners on 1300 East, University Street, and South Temple. The Faculty Banner Project recognizes the educators and researchers at the U.
This year the Faculty Banner Project highlights 25 of the U’s top researchers, including Tallie Casucci, MLIS, Associate Librarian, at the J. Willard Marriott Library.
Tallie’s banner says “Improving Evidence-based Practice.” Evidence-based practice or EBP originated in health sciences research for clinicians’ decision making and is growing into other disciplines and fields of research. Traditionally, EBP integrates “the best available evidence with clinical knowledge and expertise, while considering patients’ unique needs and personal preferences.” It is informed decision making and action based upon available evidence, clinical expertise, and patient values. Tallie collaborates with research teams on evidence review projects, such as systematic reviews and scoping reviews.
You can find Tallie’s banner located on 1300 East, between 100 and 200 South.
