About Allen Allensworth
Engraved portrait of Allen Allensworth in military attire with ornate shoulder details. He has a serious expression. His name is printed below the image.

At the age of 44, Colonel Allensworth was commissioned as a Chaplain. He was stationed at Fort Douglas from 1896 to 1898. During his time at Fort Douglas, Col. Allensworth delivered several speeches and sermons, hosted special events, and established a school.

A vintage black-and-white photo showing a street scene with a cyclist, two horseback riders, and a dog. A large house and bare trees are in the background. The atmosphere feels lively and nostalgic.
