Posted at 18:35h, 05 SeptemberCongrats to the U for convening this session that kicks-off the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. As the first Latino to be presented an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters by the University of Utah at their 138th Commencement Ceremony in 2007, I am thrilled to see the Latino leaders featured in “Many Histories, Many Voices.” Also a big fan of Ruby Chacon who was commissioned by our family to paint an imaginary Ibarra family reunion in Oaxaca.
