Feb 22, 2016 Come Explore the Materials Collection

This unique and carefully curated collection provides a hands-on experience with 1,500 new to market samples from Material ConneXion. Student and faculty entrepreneurs alike will discover untold inspiration for new inventions, product designs, and built environments.

The collection is located in the J. Willard Marriott Library on Level 2  in the Fine Arts & Architecture Library space and includes a  Material ConneXion database quick search station. The database provides access to photos of the materials, physical properties, recommended uses, sustainability, and manufacturer contact information for 8,000+ samples!

MCX Utah is one of only three satellite locations in the United States and the first academic location in the west. This collection is here to serve the University community at every step of their creative process from inspiration to ideation, to iteration, and beyond.
