EBSCOhost Databases Now Have Improved User Interfaces

The vast set of databases and journals covering nearly all fields of study, EBSCOhost will be migrating to a new user interface (UI) for users on January 7th, 2025. EBSCOhost is one of the largest electronic resources available to students, faculty and staff at the University of Utah.

Here are several key points about the upcoming UI migration:

  1. Improved User Experience:The new interface has been designed with user feedback in mind to enhance usability, improve accessibility, and provide an optimal research experience. For details on upcoming features visit the product roadmap.
  2. Seamless Link Redirection:You don’t need to take any action. EBSCO will handle the migration, ensuring a seamless transition. Your existing links will update to the new UI automatically.
  3. Saved searches will be migrated to the new UI. Ebsco has a feature in place where all active personal users will incur a migration of their saved searches, ensuring those users can view and manage these saved searches alongside those which were saved within the new UI
