Jan 21, 2019 From Our Campaign Representative
I’m honored to represent the J. Willard Marriott Library on the President’s Campaign Cabinet. When I walk into the Marriott Library, I feel the vibrancy of an innovative, creative, and welcoming environment. It’s gratifying to see so many people taking advantage of all the Marriott Library has to offer in services, classrooms, group and individual study areas, technology, and collections. Beyond our campus, the Marriott Library is a resource treasure for our community and the State of Utah.
A university “on the move, doing important work, making great things happen” – stated President Ruth Watkins – requires a library doing the same. It requires a library that leads the charge in creatively supporting University priorities. The library’s campaign goals and strategic directions are directly tied to those of the University of Utah. The support and vision of our donors will give the Marriott Library opportunities to “Imagine (and achieve!) New Heights.”
