Dec 08, 2015 In and Out of Focus: Explorations in Moving Image
For the second year in a row, the Katherine W. Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library is honored to host a collaborative exhibition with students in the University’s Studio Art program. The exhibition, entitled In and Out of Focus: Explorations in Moving Image, brings together the creative output of a Digital Video course taught by Wendy Wischer and a Digital Video Effects course taught by grad-student Justin Watson.
The exhibition will feature recent student work, focusing on non-traditional storytelling through various video formats and sculptural fusions. Experimentations in content, viewer interaction, and technology allow our students to communicate their ideas in exciting and challenging ways. The addition of the library setting honors the research that was done to prepare for this show, and offers our diverse group of patrons a look into alternative forms of academic exploration and achievement.
The exhibition will be held on December 9th from 3:30pm-6:30pm in the
Fine Arts & Architecture Library and classroom on Level 2 of the Marriott. We look forward to seeing you there!
