Library Aims to Help Students Bust Stress During Finals Through Service, Dogs, and more!

Formerly known as Geek Week, the J. Willard Marriott Library and ASUU have teamed up to give the week a “glow up”. Stress Buster Week aims to help students destress during the week leading up to finals. The event lasts from December 4th until the 14th and consists of many events throughout for students.


December 4th – Share the Warmth – Make a Blanket , Level 3, 10 AM – 2 PM

Kicking off the week, come help the Crimson Transfer Honor Society make fleece blankets to be donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute! Feel free to drop by any time during the event.

December 5th + 12th – Therapy Animals, Tabling East Entrance (Level 3), 11AM – 1PM

Pet some puppers from Intermountain Therapy Animals and enjoy some fluffy relaxation.

December 7th – Burritos with Professors, Gould Auditorium, 9AM – 11AM 

Come grab some grub with your professors (while supplies last)!

December 11th + 12th – Donuts with the Dean, Tabling East Entrance (Level 3), 8AM – 10AM

Enjoy some donuts supplied by library dean, Alberta Comer (while supplies last).

December 4th – 7th – Free Coffee, Gould Auditorium (Level 1), 2PM – 4PM

Stay caffeinated and swing by the Gould Auditorium for some free coffee while supplies last. (Tables available for study in this space during the time.)

December 4th – 7th – Free School Supplies + Printing, Tabling East Entrance (Level 3), 11AM – 1PM 

Swing by and pick up some school supplies and coupons for up to 15 pages of free printing (while supplies last)!

December 4th – 7th, 11th -14th – Free Parking after 8PM 

Stay late and don’t fret about paying for parking. Fees apply to your parking before 8, but afterwards we got your back!

      Not this year. We decided to opt for the free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cider instead. 🙂
