Mar 12, 2026 New Perimenopause, Menopause and Postmenopause Books
By Tallie Casucci, Science & Engineering Librarian
These new library books cover perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause for patients and health care providers. These hormonal changes are a natural part of aging for women with symptoms beginning in ones’ 30-40s.
Doody’s Core Titles publishes a “Doody’s Special Topics List” that brings together the top books on a given topic picked by content experts. In fall 2025, Doody published a Menopause book list that librarians use to evaluate their collections. Associate Librarian Tallie Casucci used this list to purchase an over 30 titles for the U Libraries. The titles listed below are open access or available through the U Libraries with the recently purchased book titles bolded.
