Jun 14, 2016 Relocation of the Fine Arts and Architecture Reference Desk
Greetings,
As the primary users of the Katherine W. Dumke Fine Arts & Architecture Library and its collections, I wanted to use this opportunity to explain small change that we are implementing this summer. Starting last week, our reference services merged with those of the Knowledge Commons just outside of our doors. In the coming weeks, we will be removing our reference desk and providing additional space for study and research in its place.
We chose to make this transition due to changes in how you, our users, have been utilizing our services over the last few years. One of the many benefits of this consolidation is access to our collections will be expanded to all hours the library is open. Requests can be made at the Knowledge Commons Desk on Level 2 for in-house use of all our materials. We hope that a consolidated reference point will be a more intuitive place to stop for questions and research help during all hours of operation.
As always, if there are questions, special requests, or any concerns, please feel free to get in touch with me directly.
Regards,
Luke Leither
