Virtual Reality Checkout Services

Do you need access to a virtual headset for a class, meeting with colleagues, hanging out withThe virtual reality lab located in the Marriott Library, room 1008. friends, or just playing games? The Marriott Library has you covered! We have added over 35 new systems to our checkout service and are continuing to add more each month. Currently, we have PlayStationVR, Vive, Vive Pro, Oculus Rift, Oculus Rift S, and Oculus Quest. In the next week, we will be adding the new Vive Cosmos Elite. All headsets are available on a 30 day loan period. Head over to the Knowledge Commons Desk or see the link to our Equipment Checkout Process.

For fall 2020, we have added a second VR classroom to accommodate social distancing protocols. MLIB 1008 and MLIB 1009 are now twin-classrooms. Each classroom features 6 VR The virtual reality lab located in the Marriott Library, room 1009systems. Just like the original VR classroom, the additional classroom has Valve Index HMDs, Valve Controllers (Knuckles), and NZXT PCs with Zotac 2070 GPUs to support the immersive needs of developers and gamers.
