August 30^th marked the kickoff of Utah Football for the 2018 season with the Utes playing against Weber State at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The J. Willard Marriott Library was at the game celebrating 125 seasons of football and 50 years of the Marriott Library, which opened the doors of its new buildings in 1968.

The library gave away mini footballs, bookmarks, and tiny block U magnets that had been printed on the 3D printer. Library Dean Alberta Comer made an on-field appearance where the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dan Reed, presented a signed Utah football while the library video paying tribute to 125 seasons of football played.
