Passing the Baton

Someone one said, “Time flies, but memories last forever.” This statement certainly resonates with me when I think back on my ten years at the Marriott Library. The ten years have passed quickly, but I will forever hold the memories close to my heart.

While my retirement does come with a bit of sadness, I am excited about the new adventures that lie ahead for me, and I am thrilled that I am passing the baton to Sarah Shreeves. It was first announced at the beginning of this year, but she will be taking the helm on June 15, 2023.

Sarah’s exceptional leadership skills and vision will undoubtedly enhance and grow the libraries at the University of Utah. She will lead the libraries in their continued success and expansion of our research-one university. I have no doubt that under her leadership, the Marriott Library will continue to provide “All U Need.”
