Geospatial Lunch Hour Series Throughout March

By Justin Sorensen

Are you interested in expanding your knowledge of GIS technology and incorporating it into projects and research you are developing? Have you ever wanted to start learning the tools, processes, and workflows that allow such creations to be possible? Well, the Marriott Library’s GIS Services unit has you covered.

During the month of March, GIS Services will be sharing something a little different – we call it a “Geospatial Lunch Hour.” Twice a week (excluding the week of Spring Break) from 12:00pm – 1:00pm, a training broadcast on various introductory GIS topics will be presented virtually over Zoom. These sessions are created and presented by ESRI (the industry leader in GIS software) and are being shared with their permission. All you need to do to participate is find a broadcast below that interests you, register through the provided link, grab your lunch and join us virtually…it’s just that easy!

Come for one session or come for them all…it’s completely free and we welcome you to partipate. If you find these sessions to be helpful, please be sure to let us know.

Until next time…Happy Mapping!
