Dec 20, 2018 How to Check Out Free Video Games From the Library
1. Search for the game on the library’s website
If you already know the title of the game and the console you need it on, you’re good to go. For this example, we’ve searched for Dead by Daylight (2017) for the Playstation 4.
If you aren’t sure what game to check out or what is available, Tallie Casucci keeps a campus guide updated with a list organized by console.

2. Log into the library’s website with your UID
We began building our video game collection in March 2016 in support of the U’s Entertainment Arts & Engineering Program. Anyone with a current UCard can borrow our games for up to 14 days without a renewal.
3. Click request and choose your pick up location
After you’ve requested the game, you can choose from the Faust Law Library, Health Sciences Library, Marriott Library, Marriott Library Special Collections, or the McKay Music Library. More often than not, selecting the Marriott Library will be the easiest and fastest way to pick up the video game.
4. Pick up and enjoy!
You will receive an email in your UMail inbox once the game is ready to pick up. If you’ve selected the Marriott Library, the pick-up location will be at the security desk on level one near the west entrance.
Remember to return the games in fourteen days!
