Special Collections Cataloging Assistant
Ashley Shaw first worked at the Marriott Library in the Digital Preservation department as a student employee in 2019, where she fell in love with preservation and working with special collections. She is currently pursuing an MLS degree with an archival concentration and is thrilled to be back at the Marriott as a Special Collections Cataloging Assistant. In addition to this role, she also works at the City Library’s Marmalade branch as an assistant where she enjoys working with the community and diversifying her library knowledge.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys collecting and listening to records, live music, karaoke, and spending time with her husband and dog in the outdoors. She’s looking forward to traveling again after graduation and hopes to visit Japan, Sweden, and Scotland, among others.
